We're sorry to announce that FWAG is now in Administration.

Adrian Allen and Mark Wilson of Baker Tilly Restructuring & Recovery LLP were appointed Joint Administrators of Farming & Wildlife Advisory Group Limited (“FWAG”) on 18 November 2011. The affairs, business and property of FWAG are being managed by the Joint Administrators who act as agents of the Company and without personal liability.

Adrian Allen is licensed to act as an Insolvency Practitioner in the UK by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Mark Wilson is licensed to act as an Insolvency Practitioner in the UK by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Currently the Administrators are seeking a sale of the Company’s business and its assets in the hope to preserve the future of this well-established charity.

Here is a message from Peter Francomb, Chief Exec of Hubspace Limited:

Hubspace is the company responsible for creating and supplying the web-based software that served the FWAG website and also the nationally accessed Client Management System. (There is also a new FWAG website that has been in gentle development behind the scenes. This can't currently be shown publicly for legal reasons, but let me know if you'd like a private view.) I have a long history working with FWAG and a deep affinity with the organisation's objectives, so I am very sorry to have had to remove access to the system.

The system itself belongs to Hubspace, so is in no immediate danger of being lost. I'm very open to exploring the best win-win solution with any and all people involved with FWAG at any level - employees, ex-employees, trustees, ex-trustees, committee members, ex-committee members and so on. I think I may be able to help the people at FWAG find a way out of this crisis, both from a technical and from a strategic perspective.
