Echo is a next generation real-time commenting system that as well as allowing direct comments also aggregates comments about you from multiple social networking sites and other Internet locations. It’s a way to share your content and watch the live reaction. Turn your static pages into a real-time stream of diggs, tweets, comments and more.

Echo charges: None for a level of service suitable for most Hubspace users. Approx. £6 per month for a white label option (loses Echo credit on the page and in emails). Further enterprise subscription levels are available.

Amiando is a ticket shop and event management solution fully integrated in to the Hubspace events module. It has features that support promotion, participant registration, online ticketing and much more.

Included with: Publishing plan - £12 per month.

Amiando charges: No charge for free events, 80p plus 6% commission on ticket prices for ticketed events (includes credit card transaction fees). No ongoing subscription.

MailChimp lets you easily design and send email newsletters, share them on social networks, integrate with services you already use, and track your results.

Included with: Publishing plan - £12 per month.

MailChimp charges: Free up to 2000 subscribers. Various subscription levels allow for greater numbers of subscribers.

e-Junkie provides a neat and comprehensive shopping cart and product management solution, including the ability to sell downloads and to sell through affiliates. We're fully integrating e-Junkie with the Hubspace products module. (We're not so keen on the name, but your customers don't see that).

Included with: Interactive plan - £18 per month

3rd party charges: Approx. £3.50 per month for up to ten products (no limit on transactions, no charge per transaction). Subscription levels go up based on the number of products. (As in all cases with e-commerce, you will also require a merchant account and payment gateway, or you can use Paypal Payments Standard or Google Checkout, which will each charge a percentage on transactions).

Chargify greatly simplifies the administration involved in managing recurring billing. It's the service we use ourselves to charge for Hubspace subscriptions. You can charge subscriptions to access premium site content, or for membership of a particular organisation / club.

Included with: Business plan - £36 per month.

Chargify charges: None for up to 50 customers. Paid subscriptions start at £32 per month for up to 500 customers. Further subscription levels are available.
